For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing major problems with my Internet. Whenever I am in a public server (e.g. tower, patrol, not a darkness zone), I experience constant disconnects from Destiny, mostly caterpillar and a direct disconnection from xbox live, sometimes hawk (which ends up being a black screen and then a disconnection from xbox live), and occasionally some random ones (e.g. hare, weasel, bee, newt, pineapple, etc.).
The point is that I thought this was simply a weird problem I was just personally experiencing, but I just found some posts discussing the same thing; therefore, I believe it is on a much larger scale.
Some people claimed to have fixed this, but how?

I have the fix for this. Check the post link for complete step-by-step. Or just turn off Parental Controls on your technicolor 8305C for the static ip of your xbox.

I got kingfisher once then keep getting baboon every 4 or 5 mins can't play at the moment

Just got Caterpillar on the weekly! :(

Yes you are not alone, if that gives you any sense of relief. I have experienced this for about a month now since infamous Atheon baby bumper patch. Prior to that it was a-ok. Now it's a mess. Seems that , at least with Comcast customers, the main culprit is the technicolor 8305C modem/router. In my region it is all they will give me. If I want to attempt to see if a new model with fix it I'll have to buy it myself. It Xmas time so that ain't happening. So destiny in five minute increments yay

Bungie hates us so much that hey have given us false hope for months that this game will actually work. Boy, I can't wait to NOT buy the DLC. To bad that Bungie destroyed their own dreams on this one. What a bunch of tards lol
