I know that most wouldn't believe me but I like farming (patrolling) and absolutely hate PvP.
When you have nerve damage you tend to avoid PvP stuff that really aggravates things.
I enjoy doing the boring patrols just to unwind and slowly obtain specific items to build a strong Guardian and then try a Raid.
Just because I didn't do a raid and only did a few strikes doesn't mean I don't want to.
I want to build a character I can use and be useful. Since I am not good enough in my opinion to do strikes, I was trying to build up until I was satisfied with my performance to try a raid.
Unlike most others I have a unique approach to gaming and by removing this option it really impacted my long-term plan.
Unless there is a new way to creep towards better items other than forcing PvP or have others carry me in raids, I think I am at a dead end.
I don't want others to carry me, play PvP or anything else I cannot do well.
I admit I will not play PvP just to piss off others, it was a rant and a brief thought that I will not follow though with.
It's amazing how many people think Destiny should be played a certain way and legendary items should be excluded from certain players.
To me they only items that should be reached a unique way are raid/IB gear and any new items above those. I am OK with that. At least give us back paths to be able to reach those items without forcing everyone to play one specific way.
It just really bugs me they removed one thing I used so much.
