Okay I'm sure you and most people agreeing with you haven't played an MMO before, or you have but very little. There are different types of gear, all somewhat similar except in looks or a few stat changes. Some you get by grinding out PVE and some you get by grinding out PVP. You don't get to do something and then get rewarded or be able to purchase something completely unrelated to what you just did PVP gear is for PVPers and PVE gear is for people who play PVE. But that doesn't mean you can't wear crucible gear in PVE You just have to put in the effort into that particular branch of the game So good on ya destiny! Thumbs up to making players try.
