I see a lot of ppl are upset with this change and now having to earn crucible marks by playing crucible. I am surprised how many ppl would farm for materials only to trade in for marks. I did it twice and thought it was horribly boring and thought the exchange rate was horrible too. I thought the update was great because now I don't have to farm. I get materials from doing dailies, I think I also got some from turning in patrol bounties, and if I still don't have what I need I just buy the materials. I pretty much have all the weapons I could want and get plenty of marks from just doing weekly and daily strikes with three characters. So it is nice that now I can just play the game instead of picking flowers. I do enjoy pvp too and really think it brings a fresh twist on most FPS pvp games that I like. I do think there should be an exchange between vanguard and crucible marks. I think a 2 to 1 ratio would be good. That way it still encourages ppl to play both pvp and pve, which I think bungie is trying to promote. Honestly though the best faction and crucible gear I have gotten has always been from random rolls from either faction leveling up or the cryptard. I do think it will be funny when I start seeing more ppl going afk or dancing in the crucible. I would love to see two teams go into a dance off.
