Materials should never be used to buy something earned in PvP. I made a post stating this fact. Now that it is easier to purchase 20 materials of a specified amount it would cheese the Mats for Marks system. I suggested that Factions (Not counting Crucible) should allow individuals to make Purchase with BOTH Vanguard Marks or Crucible Marks.
Seeing as Factions dish out missions on Patrol it would make sense from a PvE stand point. This is a far better compromise that should be implemented asap. I hope you can all agree.

then materials which come from pve shouldnt be able to bought from something you earned on pvp?? thats still makes this change not good.. Sorry.. i agree on different currency for buying same material thou.

sorry for my bad english, when i meant material i meant weapons, armors, emblems, spinmetals etc.. if pvp can buy spinmetals with crucibal marks, then there should be something available for pve to buy things from crucible to make it fair since they dont need spinmetals (bcos they already get by playing). I guess both sides are having problem bcos upgrades need materials from pve and some pvp players dont like to play pve. And pve players would like to buy weapons/armors/emblems from pvp which they dont like to play. So your opinion finds the between of both sides. Anyway there is nothing to do with marks after 12 things bought from quartermasters so rest just stands for the emblems.. Same as like mote of light.. I dont know what to do with them anymore :) Developers need to think for both sides to make this game little more interesting bcos after sometimes, you get everything, and samething over and over becomes boring in here for some reason..

If that were implemented it would eliminate most of the problem. However you still run into the issue of having to get rid of extra materials that are clogging up your inventory. Discarding materials would be the only option, which is BS and destroys immersion.

They will have to allow us to sell our materials for glimmer then that way we would have an economy with nothing wasted

Face it though, glimmer is almost useless. Perhaps we could sell them to any faction we wanted, thereby increasing our standing with them.

Ehhhh not sure. Glimmer Is useless though I agree about that. The Iron Banner made good use of it because you needed glimmer to buy the items. Maybe with the Return of Queens Wrath or any other future events we can buy those event items too.

As a strictly PVE player I was unaware that the iron banner weapons cost glimmer. That is actually a decent way of giving glimmer some value. I really don't care how we can dump unwanted materials, just so long as we can and get some reward for doing it beyond a few glimmer.
