You missed the point. The UPDATES continually screw the pve community and are mainly focused on benefitting the pvp crowd. I am decent in the crucible, but I only play it because there's nothing to do on pve except weeklies. People are justified in their anger at bungie. They sold us a false bill of goods. Both before and after launch they kept reassuring is the world would be continually evolving. They insinuated heavily that there would be ongoing events and a changing world SEPERATE from dlc. People are pissed they keep tweaking pvp to appease pvp players and the activision business model while breaking the genuinely good pve elements continuously.

If something new every week isn't something ongoing to do then I have no idea what is. Iron banner, queens wrath, raid weekly's dailys a new raid to do in 7 days. From every game I've ever played this is the most upkept gameplay.

You don't know what new content is? New content is content that stands alone from the existing content. Not rehashing the same things we already do but with a new npc telling you to go do it. Iron banner and queens wrath is three weekly events in 3 months. Two of which were in the first month and one is the same content twice. They made us believe there would be new events ongoing in the way they presented the first month of events. It was just enough to make you believe there would be new content. On top of that, they weren't new content. Queens wrath was the same strikes but slightly more difficult for a differ et currency and gear that a large portion of the community couldn't use. Iron banner the first time was the crucible with the option to buy a couple pieces of gear. Both of these are lack luster. The raid is the same every week, it's not new weekly content. The 5 possible nightfall strikes are just varying degrees of difficulty. When thy talked about it before launch they specifically said, nightfall will be a NEW weekly challenge to accomplish each week. There is nothing new about running the same strikes that have been scaled to end game difficulty. The entire launch and advertisement of this game has been shrouded in vague double speak that makes you think you're getting one thing when really you're getting very little. A large portion of the communities dedicated players feeling they were disillusioned indicated those who complain didn't read further into bungies own words. Dlc is new content, they lead us to believe there would be dlc worthy content coming on the regular in this PERSISTANT EVER CHANGING world. They lead us to believe we would be getting proper expansions of the game in dlc. Not a handful of maps packs and weapons. The only aspect of the dlc that is truly and expansion is the raid...which will add a few hours to play destiny per week at most(after the first two weeks)

But the vendors are the other way around. 4 vendors that sell weapons for crucible marks, 1 for vanguard. And that 1 only has 4 weapons that never change.

Edited by ArtHighlander: 12/2/2014 5:23:02 PMBut some of the most powerful weapons are raid exclusive. So PvPers have no choice but to Raid to acquire them. And if you Raid often and acquire those exclusive weapons, you're not going to worry about those 4 PvP vendors. Not to mention, in order to hit 30, you need to Raid.
