To be fair, it is called "crucible gear"... It makes sense to play the crucible to earn it :/

I'd be more sympathetic to opinions like this if it weren't for the fact that only eight of the Vendor armor pieces are available from PvE, and 32 are from PvP. For a game that was heavily marketed as supporting both PvP and PvE players, that's not a particularly reasonable split.

That's true. Needing crucible marks for faction gear doesn't make sense, especially when the factions are part of the patrol missions as well as the crucible playlists.

Name one thing about Dead orbit gear, or NM, or FWC that shows that it's crucible. Is it the elements on the weapons? Which are completely useless in PvP? Lets hear it.
