I don't like the option to buy mats as I thought it was a good way to determine who is a real mmo / grinder type player, you might come across a lvl 28 with all the best kit but very few upgrades. This tells you more likely than not that they just got a lucky drop an they're not willing to do the grind that's necessary in mmo / rpg games. Don't get me wrong I will definitely be purchasing them from now on as I'd be a fool to farm when no one else will be but it shows that the game is trying to keep COD esque ' players happy as apposed to the gamers who live for the grind, which in all fairness are probably the people who are more likely to play the game for longer.

  • "COD esque"? Just because they don't love farming, eh? Hmmm, strange opinion you have there. I've had 3 level 30s since last week, and I farmed because it was necessary, but definitely not always fun. I love the fact that we can buy mats now and I would never consider myself "COD esque". And living for the grind? Most of us live for real life, you know, job, gf/wife, family, etc. People can now farm much less so they can enjoy a bit more real life. Who the hell cares about determining who is a "real mmo / grinder type player" anyways? Play the game however you want to. It's odd the people that judge other people by how somebody plays the game. All Bungie did was do us all a favor by adding this option. If that takes away your ability to determine if somebody is a "true grinder", my question is why the hell do you care in the first place? LOL

  • Ermm two little girls a fiance and a mortgage and I run a animal sanctuary, I have a life thank you. The point I was making was that it was a good way to determine who'd put the hours in, I mean this game is supposed to be mmo that's my point where the grind is unavoidable to get progress but not so much now.
