As much as I love running around in circles shooting the same guys in the face and holding X every minute, it gets old very quick. Especially when you need 60+ of one material. I could deal with this, but I'm happy that they added an alternative. It's sort of like the loot cave. They got rid of one way of consistently getting engrams but at the same time they bumped up the engrams that dropped in the playlist. In this case they got rid of one way to earn crucible marks, and I hope that they add an incentive to earn them in the future for those of you who relied on this method. As far as I'm concerned: if I need vangaurd marks, I play the strike playlist. If I need crucible marks, I play the crucible. I believe this is what they intended in the first place, and now that you can just buy materials with marks, that method became too convenient (though I understand that it's not that much of a bump) so they got rid of it. I understand your side better and hope you guys get something to help boost your pve experience again, but I'm just going to keep on keeping on.

IMO at the end of the day, they should just get a Vault team assembled and forget about the cruddy faction gear. If you have the patience for farming, the Vault has the richest soil in the game.
