i'm still doing the thorn bounty..... and crying every day...
English

hmmm i just realized the void part muahahaha.... i have epilogue and now gonna switch to a void shotgun.... should be easy
-
It literally takes an hour. Atheons, hide and seek (or any void gun) and corrective measure. Void walker for good measure. 6 or so games with a good kd, you win
-
f that, i gave up on that one , i tried for two weeks , i was done, i cant use fusion rifles and the void shotty sucks , if i had judgment with void iam sure thorn would be mine, i dont use hand connons any way so not a big deal

Starting crucible part of the thorn bounty after I level up Atheons epilogue. I really suck at PVP, and most of the time I will have my 10 year old son do it for me, he is really good. But after doing some PVP for the bad juju bounty, and having a couple decent games, it is starting to grow on me. I think my son will be getting less playing time on this one.
-
Got my respect. I wansn't even about to attempt it.
-
Atheon's Epilogue, Praedyth's Revenge, and Truth. Play 8-12 games positive.
-
I feel your pain. Longest week of my life
-
What's so hard about getting thorn????? Literally did it in one day (3-4hrs).
-
i tried but i suck to much at pvp lol

The bounty requires you to be VERY good at BOTH PvP and PvE. ...and (unless you're level 28+) it requires you to overcome some of the hardest challenges in the game. I'm happy that it came it easily to you. You are in the DISTINCT minority.

Honestly, I'm average at both, and expected Thorn PvP bounty to be a P.i.t.A. Once I realized a few "truths" I managed to finish off that part of the bounty in 2-3 days of playing (don't get much time every day). Now, most of these are common sense, and bluntly, NOT what I usually play with (although I sometimes try, and find they DO make you a better player) - play Control. People (read as "targets") will be places you can predict. You will also have 4-5 people around to help cover your back. - play very cautiously (don't go charging in to die, its not in your best interest). - if you're all alone and the motion sensor erupts RUN! - your goal is to make 1 kill for every death, any after that is gravy. - use every VOID weapon at your disposal! I didn't have the Raid Void auto-rifle (which would have been nice), but I had the Comedian, and a rare Void Fusion Rifle. Ended up sticking with the Fusion Rifle more. Also had a rare Void Rocket Launcher. I prefer MachineGun now, but the Rocket Launcher is nice for control if you can time it so the other side is taking a control point. Good way to rack up a few kills. If you're running Titan or Warlock, also make sure to use the Void subclass! Grenade and Super kills with Void damage also count. - AGAIN: your goal is to get one kill before you die, everything else is gravy (and truthfully, after a while, you'll have runs of better which help). - run with the group. - if you are losing, let the respawn timer count-out and take a few deep breaths. - if you have 2-3 bad matches where you are losing ground, exit to orbit and re-enter matchmaking. The Strike was way harder (especially since you can grab a few friends) than the PvP part, and even then, the PvP part was more careful grinding than anything else. Good luck to all who are doing the bounty and yeah, its funny as heck that people are all flocking to do it since the update.

What he said, it was a straight forward bounty.
