Advertise: describe or draw attention to (a product, service, or event) in a public medium in order to promote sales or attendance. Obviously if I don't know about what the hell you are talking about it was not advertised the same where I am. Last I check most people log more hours in the destiny PVE than PvP. I know I do. To say that the game is PvP base ignores the fact that the entire game revolves around gear, which you only need for pve, and pve is the main push for leveling past 20. The entire experience is pve based. I was in the beta too mate, but apparently I didn't get the same advertising that you did.

  • I think you forgetting Iron Banner and when I said do your research I did not mean read a definition in the Dictionary. How am I suppose to know where you are from? Yes people do log in more hours in PvE than PvP. Patches are mostly to fix PvP. They barely fixed VoG, but I'm pretty sure not all the glitches. I still encounter Praterians that refuse to die. I guess you did not get same advertisement as I did.

  • IB was a week long PvP extravaganza, as it was advertised to be. It also only aids is attaining max level, raid pieces and exotics still required. Definition was a dig at you, that you are getting something out of adverstisment that was either unintended or you thought it was a promise, advertisement is used to boost sales, attendance etc, has nothing to do with final product. Also location is irrelevant to a proper advertising campaign, so you obviously got something from it that I didn't. Research revealed what I already know, and thus again, where the hell did you get those ideas. VoG is bugy, problem with bugs, you don't know the problem. Is it code based? Is it network based? Does it only happen to specific areas, times. Etc. It is common practice in computers to first fix what you must (exploits/mission critical) in order to make things work the way you want. You then deal with bugs and no critical issues slowly and over time, to ensure you do not cause any other issues. As for patches to fix PvP, I would wage that specifically PvP related issues are far less than general fixes and pve specific fixes. No I get memos, advertisement have a way of being misinterpreted.

  • Wow! I agree with some points but you really need to get your facts straight and stop living in denial. Bungie did not delivered what they promised and that's a fact. I agree advertisement can misinterpreted which in this case by you.

  • Please present what they promised and I will admit that you are correct. Otherwise, you made the mistake of taking advertising as promises.
