First game I ever had was 'small soldiers' on PS1 back when I was a wee nipper. That game gave me my first taste of pvp, and I've been hooked since. Then I got tekken 2. So many hours of my childhood spent playing winner stays on with a bunch of friends, on tekken. Oh and micro machines sticks in my head too. I remember it being such a hassle of trying to get a multi-Tap to work so we could have 4 of us playing at once, but my god was it worth it. Good times.

The first game/s that really got me into gaming were the original Police Quest, Space Quest, Kings Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry (probably not optimal for a kid lol), all played on a Tandy 2000. I was quite young when I played these but I think that having to actually type in what you wanted to look at, say, do, or grab really helped with my spelling and looking at things a different way at that young age. It was a long time ago but I was hooked from there and began to play console games at friends' houses after that.

Let's talk about Contra, Nintendo.

We were visiting my aunt over the summer when i was about 13, i had video games but never messed them much until my cousin sat me down with Duke Nukem 3D. I sat there for at least 5 hours loving every moment and that's what really started me into gaming as a whole. Unfortunately every Duke game that followed fell extremely short to that first experience. 3D Realms what happened? You used to be cool.
-
The original Doom (PC).
-
I've been gaming since the Atari 2600 :-P. One game that brought me into gaming was space invaders, and moon patrol on the atari 2600. I was so obsessed with those games then until i later got a nintendo :-P.

FFIII was it for me on Super Nintendo. Before that all I remember playing was missle command on Atari.

Sigh. ZORK.

Super old school: Might and Magic 6. I'll bet no more than 20 people that see this will recognize the game.
