People need to understand there called "crucible marks" not material marks... With that being said what should be the only way to earn CRUCIBLE MARKS other than playing the crucible.

In that case, they never should have put the original system in place. Because they did, people grew accustomed to having it. Now that it is gone people are unhappy. Cause and effect.
