PvE players have the raid.
For those who prefer PvP, we got screwed in the sense we can't get mats to upgrade OUR gear without going out of our comfort zone and PvEing.
This is more than fair. If you want Crucible gear, plau crucible, don't cry that you want certain gear but don't want to do what is needed to get it.
The only change I would suggest to Bungie is make faction vendors accept Vanguard marks as well, as my Titan is PvE primarily but my Hunter and Warlock are PvP oriented, so I haven't done any faction stuff on said Titan

Its about Faction gear not Crucible gear....big difference my friend

Can't go out of your comfort zone? -blam!- off you go passed spin metal a bloody upgrade material withing the first / second missions of the game needed to be played before you can even get to PVP.

Edited by METALmurderer: 12/3/2014 3:25:04 AMVery mature response. I will do my best not to pay you back in kind... My last Character that I leveled, I powered through Story missions up til I beat Earth, no patrols, no wandering, get in, get out, move on. After I hit level 5, I did the remainder of my 1-20 journey in the Crucible. My first character was a Hunter, who did 10-20 in Crucible, because that is what I enjoyed. My middle character, a Titan, was only created to farm mats. But I'd rather be on my Hunter or Warlock in Crucible. Finally, you go past spin metal... FFS if you're going to talk shit in English, at least learn to speak it...

Edited by Kinky Luvin: 12/3/2014 3:30:19 AMSpin metal isn't exclusively in patrol missions, it's farmable in any earth mission. Also jog on with grammar/spelling phone autocorrects half the stuff into the wrong word plus it's 3:30am. Anyone who brings up spelling/grammar online is just grasping at anything to try n get an upper hand. Grammar/spelling on the internet aren't needed you still perfectly understood what I was saying
-
I know, but it seems to have ruffled your feathers ;)
-
Nah not ruffled any feathers lol just like to point out how far someone like yourself has to go to try and pull back an argument but it's kinda funny with your spelling mistakes too if you wanna point it out :)
-
I know, phone auto correct sucks. After my OP I was just trolling :) Also it might just be me, but it seems mats and chests spawn more on Patrol than on story missions, at least from what I've seen.
-
Spelling is very much important, however your arguement besides that is pretty sound.

Edited by METALmurderer: 12/3/2014 3:51:48 AMIt's only sound as far as Spin Metal is concerned. Sadly, most of the gear I tend to use wants Helium Filaments, Spirit Bloom, or Relic Iron, which I can't get in the first 2 missions. They should have just let the Faction Vendors accept either Mark, and the PvE players wouldn't have traded in upgrade mats for rep/marks in the first place. I haven't seen any posts of Crucible players complaining they can't farm Vanguard rep by trading in mats...
Oh wait, that's because we HAD to do PvE to upgrade our gear or just live with it un-upgraded. If you want Crucible gear, play Crucible. Iron Banner has a 0% chance of dropping Fate Bringer or VoC, but you don't see the PvPers crying on the forums about it
Can't even take you seriously after that spoiler. Dumbest -blam!-ing thing I've read yet
