It's only sound as far as Spin Metal is concerned. Sadly, most of the gear I tend to use wants Helium Filaments, Spirit Bloom, or Relic Iron, which I can't get in the first 2 missions. They should have just let the Faction Vendors accept either Mark, and the PvE players wouldn't have traded in upgrade mats for rep/marks in the first place. I haven't seen any posts of Crucible players complaining they can't farm Vanguard rep by trading in mats... [spoiler]Oh wait, that's because we HAD to do PvE to upgrade our gear or just live with it un-upgraded. If you want Crucible gear, play Crucible. Iron Banner has a 0% chance of dropping Fate Bringer or VoC, but you don't see the PvPers crying on the forums about it[/spoiler]
