I don't get why this makes everyone so mad. PVE players can run the raid frequently, which drops some of the best loot in the game. I never even buy anything from the vendors because I have raid stuff or exotics. And if you're a PVE player that doesn't run the vault then I'm sorry but you're missing out on about 70% of the game and probably shouldn't have bought this in the first place.

Most of us are missing that 70% cause we don't have 5 more friends to raid and apparently bungie refuses to give us the option to either matchmaking or lfg chat on tower!
-
Yep, Bungie seems to want to force you (PvE) to go outside the game, post on a website, hope you can find 5 friendly guys and the play. What a stupid decision to remove chat, force the use of another device and exclude matchmaking in all group activities. It is even stupid you need to orbit if you want to join someone in patrol. I don't see anything on the Destiny box that states you need another device to be able to find users to play Heroic and Raids. Maybe the next patch will remove matchmaking from PvP since that is horrible forcing unknowns together in PvP. It's so easy and fun to hookup outside the game you are playing to find people to play the game you are playing. At the very least, remove matchmaking for any PvP mode that has a 6 member fireteam. It must be ruining the joy for that just like it would for the raid.

There's this this magical place called the Recruitment forums. I don't have 5 friends to do it with either but you can find a team of 5 randoms in about 15 minutes.
-
Don't see the difference of 5 randoms in game and 5 randoms from forums so why not implement it on game

So the few strikes I did just to hear how lame I was not knowing what to do wouldn't happen in the raid? Not being able to purchase weapons I want to use, I should just jump into the raid with weapons I hate... I'll just stick with PvP and play like crap for 2 marks a game. I assume after a dozen raids I'll get the weapons and armor I want so I don't waste material on things I don't like right? I didn't get anything useful from the little strikes I already did. I guess I need to to hundreds of strikes and raids... Oh wait, that is lame doing the same 2 activities over and over again, right? Maybe I'll just stick with PvP and do the same thing over and over again on 5 maps is it? I can see how I am the only one doing the boring, repeating process.

This kid hasn't even done the raid. He actually hasn't even set foot in the raid for even a single second. He's done a total of maybe 15 hours of strikes. He has literally spend 11 days of play time in patrol mode. 11 days. I highly recommend you don't listen to anything this idiot says

Man this poster is redundant, probably spent 11 years of his life looking at porn until his mom helped him out.

I'm 23 and married but nice try

Reply defected, try again.

You might have a point if the raid was indeed 70% of the game but it isnt.
-
missing 70% of the game coz I don't like doing the "raid", don't think so ran it a couple of times hated it. imo I didn't buy destiny for the raid to me the raid is maybe 10% of the game if that but that's my opinion.....
-
Raid is by far the best part of destiny (apart from bugs lol) IMO. Why were you hating it?
-
hi in reply to the raid question, went through with friends but found it all a bit of a brain freeze!!!!! total chaos not worth my time, will stick 2 the game I like( patrols, strikes)......

Edited by TigBits: 12/3/2014 12:33:42 PMYeah its the best part because its the only part of destiny that offers a challenge (pve) lol
