I think what Op's main argument is, is that he mid boss shouldn't be more difficult/time consuming than the actual main boss. I agree with OP, Aetheon can be smashed in minutes, while killing the Templar often takes many times to accomplish. There's something not right with that. Fighting the Templar is not fun, at all, it's more of a headache than anything. Removing the exploit is fine, but the whole encounter needs to be reworked. Especially with the gap between Normal to Hard Templar fight, it's two entirely different worlds.
