Ultima online, playing on a free shard with 200+- active users.
We have full out guild wars, player made towns. Politics, economy and community.
By far the best gaming experience I have ever had and I have gone back countless times to try other free shards and have never found anything like it.

I'd prolly play that game again if I knew what you ment by free shard. I played it for a while.

Free shards and independently run servers. You essentially make a copy of the game and then open it up to players on your server. There are thousands of them.

might have to look into that. kinda miss that game sometimes.

UO was awesome. I've got many hours lost into that game. It's still probably my favorite MMO.
