Honestly i like the overall idea, using exotic mats to upgrade exotics and legendary mats for legendary weapons, i remember when they upgraded ascendant stuff to legendary and this seems like a similar thing. As for the reseting the lvling progress to upgrade old exotics to the new lvl? I dont like that atm at all, i only feel lucky that i have held back from lvling all my exotics to the current max lvl otherwise i would feel very stitched up. I can see the big picture objectively though and i think its the right way to go, imagine how much better the experience will be for new players in a weeks time compared to our slightly shaky experience so far.
