DeeJ, Destiny is a good game, but it's just that. Good. I am sure you have seen thousands of these posts, and will continue see thousands more, but I have to write this. I am not a hardcore gamer, nor am I a casual gamer who gets on occasionally. I rarely check the forums for anything else than to find players for the raid, but I understand something has to be said. This game is good: it has the graphics, the characters, the backstory, everything. But it ultimately cannot support any of these. I know there is the grimore to support the story, and I love reading the story, searching for answers in an otherwise vague story. But more than reading, I want to experience. I want to be that guardian taking legions of armies of the darkness as I search for answers in the universe. I want to fight the faction war, taking my own side as I explore each unique philosophy. In the endless expanse that Destiny world is, I'm still left wanting more. DeeJ, you love this game more than any of the players on these forums. You of all people must understand that the game in my Xbox One is not the game we were went to play. Destiny provided an outlet to reach the masses and revolutionize thought and gaming in one swoop. But alas. We were left with a game that represents the husk of the mysterious traveler: as each guardian dies, it grows weaker and weaker. I doubt you will ever see this post. At this point, it does not matter. This is not a rant to say that Destiny has betrayed me or that I am quitting. I will continue to play the game, but DJ, if you do read this and recognize nothing else, recognize this: this game is good. You have the power to make it legend.
