Well basically a long as you listen it's not too big of a deal. If you don't have a mic you are essentially agreeing to follow everyone else's lead since you can't convey a plan to anyone, but I've ran with people without mics. I know you meant it as a joke, but it's not so much that people are to lame to find a group; it's that people are too hung up by what they think a proper raid group is.
