Is there still anyone who hasn't done the raid yet?
With the new raid coming up I was wondering if there is actually any players that are of raid level but have still yet to complete it out of curiosity.
Willing to run the raid with VoG virgins just send a friend request on PS4 and if I'm available I'll help out. My ign is (you guessed it!) Misinformant. However I don't play destiny that much anymore :(
However do not rely on a chance to play with me (don't wanna delay anyone), as you can see there are plenty of other guardians who haven't done it or are willing to help ;)

2 RepliesThe new Raid you must be level 30 to lead a fireteam. The new Raid will be level 31 and Hard Raid will be level 32.

1 ReplyI did the last fight one time, never did it again. Every time someone invites me I don't have a few hours to commit to a normal raid or someone I dont know will invite me to a hard raid not realizing I've never done the full normal. I appreciate the offer on that but I'm not going to take that invite and piss everyone off. I have a 29 warlock and 28 titan and hunter. I'm totally down for some new invites if anyone wants to hit me up. PSN - necrolung.

Yes, there are. I've officially completed the raid. If you count "being a placeholder for the last couple of encounters, when you have no idea what the heck is happening" as completing the raid. Bungie seems to think it does. I have to respectfully disagree. (But the gods of RNG took pity on me--for once. I came out with the Epilogue.) Anyway, life is busy for lots of us. Free time is limited and unpredictable. If you're like this, most of your real-life friends are likely in the same boat, and getting 6 of you together for any length of time is a major undertaking. Making friends in-game is time consuming and requires a somewhat regular schedule of play. Having experienced some truly amazing thing during matchmade strikes, playing the raid with randoms doesn't sound like all that much fun. Specific to me: I hit the soft cap about the same time as the others I was likely to run the raid with (and when I had free time to exploit!), but somehow offended the gods of RNG. From that point, it took over a week of grinding before running the raid was even an option. By the time I got leveled up, teams were pretty well established among the contacts I'd made, and my window of free time had pretty much slammed shut. I might get the chance to take another crack at it for a couple of days in a week or so. Or I might have to wait until after Christmas break. That's life.

So I just finished my first complete run through of the Raid on normal with Justin and crew. I'd been in the Atheon fight before but never the full thing. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was very helpful, explaining strategies and being patient with me, especially while I fumbled my way through the jumping puzzle. Picked up 8 shards, 5 energies, Found Verdict, The Last Word, Atheon's Epilogue and the Chatterwhite shader. Oddly enough I already have AE from the previous Atheon fight and TLW was the first exotic I ever got in the game. Still totally worth it. A big thanks to Justin for taking on a Raid noob and showing me the ropes. I don't think I'd remember my way through the gorgon maze on my own but already the raid feels way less intimidating. If you haven't done it I definitely recommend taking up one of the fine people on this thread offering spots to those inexperienced in the raid and if anyone else wants Raid partners on PS4 shoot me a message/friend request on PSN. I'm Googlebright there as well.

5 RepliesPff if you haven't done the HARD MODE raid by now you're a noob. If you're on these forums and have been playing this long then you would know about all the sites, clans, and forum posts where you can find people to play with. If you haven't taken advantage of all that it's your fault If you've been playing since launch and you're still not lvl 29, you're a noob. You haven't figured out the system enough to efficiently level your guardian. Don't give me the "I have a life" excuse. I have a full time job, a girlfriend I spend a ton of time with, gym membership which I take advantage of daily and lots of friends I hangout with on the weekends. I've done the hard mode raid several times now. I've also made upwards of 20 new friends that play regularly through joining a clan. I always have people to raid with and I only have three real life friends that have destiny. Git motivated and git gud. If you're one of those people who wants to do it, stop making excuses and get it done if you are so eager. If you don't care at all about the raid then power to you but you're missing out on one of the most interesting experiences available in gaming
