After reading the latest update and while there is plenty there to discuss, I think a little more focus needs to be on the Iron Banner.
According to the update, in 2 weeks we'll be re-ranking up to get level 31 gear.
On the one hand, hey that's great to have better gear. On the other hand, a lot of us just invested quite a bit of time a week ago to rank up to get our current IB gear.
So unless the new IB gear is a chest and a helm (the update didn't specify), I can tell you right now there will be an epic shitstorm brewing on here. Three weeks of gear being current is not worth a week grinding to rank 5.
Again, if the new IB gives a helm and chest, this won't be a huge deal (though hopefully the new legendaries are on par with and not better than the IB hands and legs). We'll see.
There is a second IB issue though that has the potential to be an even greater mess and that is the glimmer issue.
The last IB was a tremendous drain on resources, particularly glimmer. In order to get a shader, both armor pieces and at least one weapon took all 25k glimmer and a couple hours of grinding more. For those of us with 3 leveled toons, this made the following week a bit of a bitch (especially when Xur didn't sell heavy ammo).
Now we will have to spend 7k per current exotic to level them up in TDB. That's 42k glimmer minimum if you have 3 toons. So how in the hell are any of us going to have another 20-40k more for the next Iron Banner.
In general, the currency system in Destiny is bad. It has the potential to be completely f#@%ed.
The glimmer cap needs to be raised. I have stated before that either it needs to be separate for each toon, raised 10-20k per leveled (to 20) toon or just raised to at least 50k.
The fact that they felt they needed to implement a cap to begin with, should have told the devs their currency system sucked.
Anyway there's a lot more issues for other posts to tackle, if you agree and would like these issues addressed, pleased comment, like or bump.

I'm surprised no one has had an opinion on this. Yeah Xur trolled everyone pretty good and yeah the commendations are concerning, but I think this could be as bad or worse depending on Bungie's approach.
