I understand what you're saying, and for how long the process is to buy the gear in the iron banner and how you still have to go through the raid still to get to 30, it isn't as easy as I thought it was. As far as finding other people, look around, there are a ton of ways to do so. Destinylfg.com is a great site, there's even the forums in Destiny's site, there are always tons of people looking to play, you just have to look for them!
