opinions on exotic weapon reset
There is a lot of discussion on the new exotic level reset to get it updated from xur. It's is widely hated due to the fact on how long it takes to level one. And it's hurts to only be able to level one at a time. What's your thought? Asking the more mature crowd seems to have the best results.

So Deej has a post up now that shows Thorn starting at 302 which should be the new base for all exotics. If that is the case then the new base already tops the max for our old exotics so when we trade up we are already ahead. Only complaint is missing the perks we love (like invis on Patience and Time). It seems even less of an issue now that we know the new base damage compensates for losing the levelling.
