Now I got 2 Exotic Shards, how do I use them to upgrade Suros?

I bought one from Xur, then read that if I dismantled an exotic it would instead be fully upgraded (and even stronger then before) so I dismantled Lucky Raspberry, and it was destroyed and now I have 2 exotic shards but NO CLUE how to use them? I have Suros, and Midas, that I want to upgrade fully, but how in the world does this work?? I just threw away Lucky Rasperry for no reason at all:( Please help me on this one guys...
