Got it all but I don't use some of the perks the one vendor sells.
Once I started to get some of the other guns sold by the other 4 vendors I found they are infinitely better than what I use.
I have a maxed Red Death. For me it is one of the worst use guns I used. I didn't use pulse guns anymore.
Then I got Fair and Square. Tried it out and it was exactly the pulse gun I expected Red Death to be. My game play changed to level that gun MY WAY.
In order for me to enjoy Destiny MY WAY, my next quest was to get all the weapons and armor from the vendors since PvP gear DOESN'T EXIST.
I figured once I get all the weapons from the vendors, level the weapons and armor I liked, I would then try the raids and whatever new content was out by that time.
My slow approach is MY WAY to extend the game for me.
If I want to rush though everything and jump to another game I would but I don't.
I guess the positive way to look at the removal of a core function of Destiny is to accept my long journey still exists, just that it will be 2 crucible marks per game. I can read a book during each match so I don't get accused of not being able to multitask. I still don't want to rush to the end content and then complain that there is nothing left to do.

I feel you, I've never been a fan of PVP. I know some of the faction vendors have here that suits one play style over the other. I also agree on the low impact weapons, they are horrible.
