Sword of Crota found on Earth
I was on patrol and ran into a knight that had the sword and he dropped it when i killed him. I was able to pick it up.
This happen to anybody else on other planets?

Yes it happens on earth and the moon (the two planets the hive are on), it was part of the most recent update in preparation of the dlc
