Name one thing a Hunter does that helps the team out?
Titans bring up their shield to protect their team.
Warlocks revive themselves if they go down to continue the fight.
Hunters shoot 3 bullets into a Praetorian that are equivalent to like 4 Icebreaker shots. Sometimes they don't even kill them.

I see you already went through this argument with someone else and hunters are definitely useful, but they're also lone wolves. Lone wolves deserve the cloak and the ability to be agile, lethal, and stealthy. It fits them perfectly.

Capes are big, distracting, make you slightly easier to spot, and can get caught in stuff.

Hmmm. Hunters take out supplicants bring the gate keepers health down to 25% and can one shot oracles with golden gun. I can't tell you how many times I save the teams butt from succumbing/getting blown up by supplicants with golden gun. :)

I mean all it takes is an organized team and you won't have to worry about supplicants. Fate bringer can easily solo Oracles, and I really just need an Icebreaker for Gatekeeper.

I mean who needs a self revive? All you need is to organize yourself enough to not die. Looks like warlocks are useless now too, right? And who needs a titan bubble? All you need to do is avoid gunshots or shoot things more often to kill things as fast as you could with weapons of light. Titans are useless now too, huh?

You're clearly piss poor at this game if you need to rely on self-revive AND think that it somehow helps the entire team. Only bad teams require people with self-revive. I'd never have trash like you on my fireteam, kid.

And if you're comparing a self revive to having hands then you must really rely on it. That's very sad.

Unexpected things can happen. True story during the hard raid atheon only teleported two people and they got swarmed by oracles I was able to run in the portal and use my 4 GG bullets (4 because exotic helm) to kill the oracles and save the raid. Plus a lot of the time people don't have ice breaker or use different exotics. I'm a number of various situations it can make a big difference.

Well see now that doesn't happen anymore. And I made sure I have my group informed how to take on Oracles if that happens. (relic holder drops and picks it up)

As I said before this was just an example. And while I agree that most things can be accomplished without golden gun, it's much easier just to use GG. For ex. Titan bubble the most useful thing in raid, definitely needed for middle platform method. Just a few hours ago I completed the hard raid with 5 hunters and one warlock and while it was way more difficult to kill atheon without the bubble we still clutched and completed.

I'll just be over here picking up your corpse with my Crest of Alpha Lupi mixed with invisibility and pick off those three supplicants that were about to paste the warlocks brains on the wall.

Also considering you've completed the raid 2 times I wouldn't be talking.

Never met a single per that runs bladedancer in the raid and if I did I would boot them as soon as possible. And also I don't know a single person who runs Alpha Lupi in the raid. Unless you don't have enough any other exotics, I'm probably going to kick you if I also see you using it on any class.
