Oracle Disruptors Best Primaries: Vision of Confluence Fatebringer Preadyths Timepeice Secondaries and Heavy: Best solar and arc weapons (to many to list) If you do not have one of the following but have a VOG drop with the Oracle Disruptor Perk this has been said by some sources to be able to break through the 'Wall of Darkness' put up by Hive Knights when you damage them. (Don't Quote me on this) Eg: Atheons Epilogue for those that don't have one of the other primaries. This is the basics, this will give the best chance of survival heading in, the rest will be trial and error. EDIT: I know some people will say 'but I have mythoclast', but this will take a exotic slot, personally Ice Breaker, Patience & Time or gjallahorn for example a likely going to be good choices for your exotic imo.
