Little Noob got his second shot at the Vault last night...and though it was a tough run the team stayed positive, kept at it, and got it done. I'm constantly amazed at the skill an 8-year old can show after putting some time in to this game. Before he and I go in to something like this I always reasert to him that he needs to watch his comms to keep the channel open, listen carefully to instructions, always be positive and don't let frustration enter in, and above all have fun and kill anything that gets in his way! All great life lessons...except the part about killing anything that gets in the way...
Last night, thru a very tough run at the Vault he not only heard my speech before we went in but he was able to witness and experience a group of 6 individuals who hadn't played before work through glitches, goofs, and a few personnel changes all while staying positive, using feedback to learn and get better, and not letting the desire for mad loot overcome a desire to hang with buds and absolutely wreck sh*t.
For me to give the gift of this life lesson to my son it took a number of folks willing to invest about 3 hours of their time while being the best they could be. I'm not sure if you guys understand how important this was to me, tho as fellow DoDs I'm sure you do. But I'll say it anyway...your gift was priceless and will serve as a lesson well in to the future and I thank you. Loose Moose, TLive, co66, FFighter, DV, plug and ghetsis you guys are the best! And whenever, wherever you have a need out in the field you've got two noobs who have your back! Thanks Again for all you do!
