First, I think they need to change it in general so that players understand better that they are automatically included in the next strike. I think a lot people just assume it works like every other strike and that they're simply in orbit when they are really in a Vanguard lobby. Second, they need AFK warning and an inactivity timer to kick people who have gone idle. Finally, it would be nice to give players who succeed without a full team playing some kind of a boost (small, like a glimmer or mark bonus).
