How many raid completions?
I am so pissed at myself. I told myself I would work diligently to become a level 30 before the DLC came out and I have completed the raid as often as I could in an attempt to try and succeed in that goal. Sadly, I have failed. I don't know where I went wrong, but Destiny feels a lot like playing the lottery (potentially worse odds). I have completed the raid on normal every week for the last 3 months, however only 1 time on hard (I told myself that I would get to level 30 and not have to be carried before I did it again). On my one hard completion,my warlock got the raid headgear, and a mythoclast and I was stoked because I had heard that these were only available by completing the raid on hard mode. Well, in my 14other attempts on normal mode I have received raid gauntlets once and a raid chest piece once. This leaves me short one set of raid boots. 14 completions and no boots. Is this normal. I am pushing almost 500 hours invested into this game. I have managed to get my Titan up to level 29 as well, and my Hunter is right behind, but my one character that I care about and made a commitment to achieving this goal with is stuck at 29. I wanted to do the vault on hard with a 30. I wanted to begin the Dark Below with a level 30. I don't really feel like doing the raid for nothing anymore, and I don't want to start the DLC content with a subpar level 29 warlock. What I do? How many times did you guys have to complete the vault before you had a full set of raid gear? I am beginning to wane away from Destiny even though I have been hooked for months.

I got 3 pieces of raid gear in 2 runs. I never ran it on hard so I just got an exotic helmet for the 30. I ran the IB to rank 4 because the armor is better for me. I was one the very few lucky people and I don't even use the raid gear. It sucks for you man. If I could I would trade you the gear.

5 RepliesThis is normal for most, they did say they "improved" the drops and decreased the rate of repeated drops. If you have not check the tower vendors you will see you can now get armor that gives you up to 33 light so getting the VOG raid armor is not necessary (I DO HATE THAT). Lots of people I raid with have worked hard to get those unique pieces to get to 30 now you can just buy them? slap in the face!!!

Well that's just great. New gear renders earned gear antiquated. I'm a level 30 now. 31 soon. Maybe now I can go back and allow myself to play VOG on hard. Thanks everyone for your ideas and encouragement.

I have 14 Atheon kills on 2 characters, but way more semi runs of various sections of the raid. I've gotten a lot of the gear but have yet to get Vex, Gj, Foil and a few other things.

Finally someone with 2 like me I been lucky though I have raid boots and gloves and exotic helm. So I'm almost 30 Need raid chest piece. I've killed Templar many times just would either give up at Atheon or people would have other stuff to do. It's all good though. I've had tons of fun. And I've learned a lot. More strategy than any other FPS I've ever played

42 total, mix of Hard/Normal can't keep track. (Estimation) 4 Helmets 3 Gloves 9+ Chests 4 Boots Still don't have Corrective measure regardless of one dropping every time we clear Gatekeepers.

Got vex mytho on 21 completion last night. Have full set of raid gear for my titan and warlock. My hunter lvl 25 has only been through the raid once, got nothing.

Don't feel bad. I've completed 20 raids, albeit scattered across 3 characters. Each of my 3 are a 29. Two have two pieces and one has one piece. I feel your pain, as I too wanted to be a 30 by the release of the DLC.

2 RepliesY'all make me feel like a jerk... I've done the raid four times, only one beginning to end, and have only killed atheon twice. I got the gloves on the first one, the boots on the second, the chest on the third, and bought an exotic helmet... more I just need shards. I also got two class items, (shiny buttflap), a ship, found verdict, praedyths revenge, atheons epilogue, and a bunch of shards and energy.... I feel like an ass.... I'm sorry bro. If it's any consolation, I'm only 29 and can't find shards to save my life now...

Ive complete the raid 13 or 14 times and i have the boots, gauntlets, and chest for my hunter. The gauntlets for my titan, and the chest for my warlock. Along with VoC, fatebringer, FV, PR, and 2 AE

Just had my first full raid clears this week and have done an additional 3 so far. It is easy too much fun.

Done it since it was out Every week normal and Coupé of Times Hard. Made a Second titan 2 Weeks After raid release. Did. it then 2 Times a week. Still missing chest and helmet

Sucks man. I feel your pain but at least u received a vex. I've done hard mode around 25 times and still don't have a vex. U should have done the IB event to get your boots

Yup, I'm still looking for boots too. Run it the Times a week, two warlocks and one titan. I've gotten 5 helmets, 4 gauntlets, 2 chest pieces. My titan hasn't yet done the hard raid, mostly because my warlocks are a higher priority. Also because he got the boots on his last normal raid and I haven't had the extra time to take him through.

Around 25 full completions and another 25 half completions. After I received all of the raid weapons I just helped groups out on normal mode. I usually hit up a team struggling on gatekeeper or atheon. A level 30 with the relic on normal goes a long way for people in need of raid gear!

I've done 38 hard raids and only got the Vex Myth one time and it was on hard raid 26... You are lucky. Too bad you have redundant skills because with your luck, you would have every piece of gear and every weapon if you beat a few more hard raids. Good luck!

I feel your pain. Only run just off 20 times but my hunter still only has the raid chest piece. I have exotic helms so I'm not too stressed about that, but really wanted the boots and gloves... So last night I run the raid with another 29 and 4 30s on hard. No boots, no gloves! Not going to complain much though, I got found verdict (twice), Hezen vengeance, aspect of glass, 6 shards and the Vex mythoclast!!! Still not 30, but can't really complain ;)

35 I think? Got full thirty gear for my hunter, and almost complete sets for my Titan and warlock.
