I am so pissed at myself. I told myself I would work diligently to become a level 30 before the DLC came out and I have completed the raid as often as I could in an attempt to try and succeed in that goal. Sadly, I have failed. I don't know where I went wrong, but Destiny feels a lot like playing the lottery (potentially worse odds). I have completed the raid on normal every week for the last 3 months, however only 1 time on hard (I told myself that I would get to level 30 and not have to be carried before I did it again). On my one hard completion,my warlock got the raid headgear, and a mythoclast and I was stoked because I had heard that these were only available by completing the raid on hard mode. Well, in my 14other attempts on normal mode I have received raid gauntlets once and a raid chest piece once. This leaves me short one set of raid boots. 14 completions and no boots. Is this normal. I am pushing almost 500 hours invested into this game. I have managed to get my Titan up to level 29 as well, and my Hunter is right behind, but my one character that I care about and made a commitment to achieving this goal with is stuck at 29. I wanted to do the vault on hard with a 30. I wanted to begin the Dark Below with a level 30. I don't really feel like doing the raid for nothing anymore, and I don't want to start the DLC content with a subpar level 29 warlock. What I do? How many times did you guys have to complete the vault before you had a full set of raid gear? I am beginning to wane away from Destiny even though I have been hooked for months.
