Thus was an interesting conversation. I have to agree that the more logical way would be saying Material for Marks. I am getting material for marks. But you are also spending marks for materials. So that way works as well. But the first way I think is what most people would say. "You can get a pizza for ten bucks" Pizza for bucks. "You can pay the bucks for a pizza" Bucks for pizza. Really depends on how you initially think about it. Kudos to CoolGuy for realizing that it could go both ways. Negative points for the other guy for being arrogant and not thinking about it more. Haha.
