How to reach Level 30 (dark below)
Hi folks
Can someone tell me what the options are now after the release of the dark below to reach Level 30 and beyond!
I'm currently stuck at level 29 and wasn't lucky so far with the VOG gear.
Options:
1) continue "farming" VOG on normal
2) upgrade your one old Xur exotic gear (Q: What "Eris" reputation level is required? Is the upgrade tool gear specific?
3)Participate in the next iron banners event (for a casual playing dad not worth the time!?)
4) Are there any other ways?
I think the fastest way is still bring 3 characters up to lvl 28/29 and "farm" the old VOG raid!?

I'm level 40 It is not that hard

Assuming you have Vanguard or Faction rank 2 and enough crucible and/or vanguard marks, you can buy legs and arms. Fully leveling one with partial to the other should get you the 120 light needed for level 30 - based on your profile and setup. You do not need a commendation for legs and arms.

Just to clarify; you can get to level 31 with the purchasable armor, the light goes to 33. Amount of light does not equal character level.

1 ReplyAll armor vendors have new armor that goes to level 33 leg/arms you can buy right away - chest and helm you need a new ticket to buy plus glimmer - you get the tickets from level up on vangaurd / crucible ect. Reputation - every new level you get the ticket in your reward packet from the mail

All the leg gear now will get you there. The vanguard helm I just got was light 33. Your problem is that weekly, nightfall etc got harder

in the new content there is new armor that goes to light level 33
