Just don't understand the hate for those of us who did use the alternative method.
I never saw complaints about it the almost 3 months it was in place.
Really seems as if the PvP numbers were too low due to this alternative method. That is the only justification I see as to why Bungie decided to axe this option.
Artificially inflate the PvP participation to justify how awesome it is by only allowing vendors to accept Crucible marks.
Sad that is likely the reason. Instead of adding to PvP to naturally attract us it was just easier to force us to choose PvP or grind in Raids.
Either way the stuff we grind for will become almost obsolete in 3 more months when the next DLC is released.
Also didn't think Bungie hates people that enjoyed farming materials. Why remove the perks you could get by doing that.
Like everyone that hated doing farming has said: Farming is way too boring and too long. It was stupid doing something in Destiny that took a long time to grind through just to buy items.
Way more logical and fun to grind through PvP or raids/strikes. Like somehow grinding should only be used one way. Didn't know grinding was such a selective function with so many rules one must follow.
