Name comes up on a few of them, certainly on the last second story on the final episode. It shows on the screen, easy to miss.

Good idea. It could possibly someone or something in the middle to set up the human covenant war again. Some forerunner tool, could be AI diverting both sides so they can reclaim the mantle from humanity. Wild speculation I know.
