ATTN: Do Not buy "The Devil You Don't" Hand Cannon!
Please be smarter than me and spend your money on something else because I cant hit anything with this pos.
My favorite weapon in the game for PVP is TLW. Based on TDYDs stats (high rate of fire/stability) I thought it could be a decent backup for when I wanted an exotic special or heavy. However, it seems like this is one of the most inaccurate guns of any class I have used, its literally losing gun fights for me. I didn't realize the Clown Cartridge perk only grants ONE extra bullet IF it procs, and at a base mag of 5 rounds, this isn't a significant difference.
I feel terrible when I think about other people spending their marks/commendations on this gun so do me a favor and don't.

Should hope for a better when you rank up vanguard becuse the vendor version is garbage.

DestinyDatabase states: TDYD: 90% TDYK:81% Fatebringer:61% Thorn:60% TLW:50% Hawkmoon:50% Most hand cannons average out at about 55%, so it is sad to me that you can't hit anything with a 90%.

it's not a bad gun. It's just the roll that the one he is selling sucks. I had one with explosive rounds and outlaw that I got from an engram. It was great but the mag was to small.

I've just been grinding PvP to get enough crucible marks for TFWPKY which is a lot better in my opinion (although the return to sender perk only seems to work once in a blue moon).

It's crappy because it's only a 5 rounder but it hits like a truck! It doesn't hit anything possibly due to your bad aim..... just saying.

1 ReplyIt sucks because it seems that guns you can outright purchase tend to have lousy perks, when the gun drops randomly they tend to have more desirable rolls and perks. I could be wrong because on this forum something is always wrong. But I believe you and if I even look at that crap gun for sale I will remember your post word for word. -blam!- that gun.

I was fortunate enough to get one with Field Scout and Outlaw. It's actually a very nice HC but the Vanguard stock one is pretty lame.

Just got mine from a blue engram and got decent perks with armour piercing round, explosive rounds, crowd control and hip fire pretty happy all in all

It's fine if you get the field scout version, but only at short to mid range... Which is where I use it

I had it as a drop with field scout and clown cartridge think at times I had 16 in the mag and it was still rubbish. I got TFWPKY drop with decent perks and it is awesome, just got bored of using it

What are the perks on the store bought? Because with Outlaw, Explosive, and Third Eye, I really enjoy the gun in Crucible when I wanna chase some strange with my Plan C, which also compliments TDYD quite nicely.

The one from the Vanguard is garbage. Get you one with field scout and you're set.

Keep it or dismantle?
