It's not blind if he was basing his trust off of fact.
The fact is, Bungie revolutionized gaming with Halo. He had good reason to trust Bungie would deliver. It's not his fault they became money-hungry.
The fact is, Bungie hasn't revolutionized anything with Destiny, other than a template for how to rip gamers off.
