In terms of Story, and how well it is executed in game, I wouldn't even place Destiny in the same category.
Destiny is more like Elder Scrolls Online, really. Even so, that game had an ending that had a clear conclusion, so I'm not even sure there.
Though, Zenimax had the audacity to sell the game separate from the subscription, so you had to pay $60 at launch, and pay $15 a month along with that.
ESO has also been out for about 7 or 8 months now, and there's only been one expansion, only end game content though.
