Liked and bumped. Sadly this was what I knew was coming. The moment they declared they were already working on Destiny 2 I had given up all hope for Destiny 1. It has been said and asked 1000s of times long before the DLC happend. More content. More variation. STORY? Also separate PvE from PvP. But nothing happens. At all. Scratch that. Something happens: Loyal players are being pissed off. More and more players are leaving. Dissapointed from what could have been easily THE game of the decade. But there is light on the horizon maybe Human Element can pull off what Destiny couldnt. Not great hopes for a decent story either there but at least there might be more content.

  • The sad part is, they already got their money from people who bought the season pass and are now deciding to leave, so players leaving doesn't have the kind of impact that can make a difference to a corporation: a financial impact.

  • If you want to make an impact, pre-order Destiny 2 and don't buy it. Let's show em we can -blam!- with them too.

  • Very true. However the players now leaving having already paid for the season pass should learn one lesson: Stop preordering games. This year should have taught us that its not a good idea to spend the money before seing the final product. No trailer,no demo,no advertising are reliable for the final content. So hopefully those leaving wont preorder again but wait for the relase to speak for itself.

  • You make a great point. All they have to do is sell the image of the game, once all the pre-orders are picked up it doesn't matter to them at all if the game is any good or not past launch week. I was a GameStop store manager for several years, I can tell you the vast majority of money most games make is in its first two days of release.
