Destiny is awesome, I thoroughly enjoy it. I blame Activision for the bread crumb trail of meager content updates. I believe that Bungie had created a complete game, then Activision stepped in and sliced it up into marketable bite-sized parts. Look at what they did to Guitar Hero and Call of Duty; release one iteration, nearly identical, every single year until the franchise is the biggest dead horse on the market, then buy up the next up-and-coming franchise to milk it to death and kick it to the curb. I'm not giving up on Destiny because I love the style, the world, the art, gameplay and gear. I do wish there was a cohesive narrative, and the game desperately needs new environments to explore and new ways to play/new features, not a retread through existing environments fighting re-skinned enemies.
