Easy way to do the last step if you're solo and don't want to use the swords for whatever reason. After activating the urn go back to the door you came from. It's now closed. Pull out your ghost and it opens again. Run out the door until the enemies that spawn there have spawned. They will run down the stairs and will never go back up the stairs. Camp the top of the stairs. Rinse and repeat for each step.
