i really think that the reward isnt worth the work.... hope im not alone with this opinion

What are they like to upgrade? Is there a chance they may become exotic gloves like some of the dlc items?

I did not know this. I thought it started out exotic, just like the Vex. Weird. Well then, that would be the first. I highly doubt these gloves are anything but level 31 (33 light) gloves. Thanks though, sounds neat. Would suck for somebody to delete it in a rage fit. ("I beat Crota on hard and got a common gun?!?! BLAM this shit!" LOL

You don't get the common version from crota, you can pick it up from knights with swords in cosmodrome

The Necrochasm? Are you sure? I've been under the impression you can only get this gun from beating Crota on hard. Just like the Vex is exclusive to beating Atheon on hard. Can you clarify..?

You get the husk on cosmodrome which can be upgraded through eris to a legendary for 10 black wax idols, then you get another upgrade for beating the hard raid that you use on the legendary to upgrade it to an exotic

Where and how do you get husk on cosmodrome? Have you seen it happen yet? 10 black wax idols, sounds way too easy. There's gotta be a catch to getting the actual husk....

And the catch is you gotta rank eris up to rank 3 or 4( I can't fully remember since I'm at school) Edit: I'm going to try buying common primary engrams from cryptard and see it that has a chance to drop it too

I will research this on my own as well when I have more time. They wouldn't punish players with three level 30s by not being able to get it. Besides, I've killed plenty of Swordbearers all over the Cosmodrome. Thanks for the info, however accurate it may or may not be, lol. I'd be interested how your Rahool experience works out. I have the feeling that bastard's just gonna take all your money -__-

Edited by Slack: 12/12/2014 7:58:14 PMYea I believe there's videos going around the forum right now of people getting the husk from the knights, I still gotta upgrade my thorn and Mask of third man too so I guess I'll be farming glimmer today for a while Edit: I got glasshouse Titan mask last night from xur engram so if you do have to be a low level to get the husk I'll delete my 3rd hunter(after doing raid/nightfall/weekly) next weekly reset and start up a titan

Most likely the upgrade will drop for everyone who beats Crota on hard so RNG doesn't screw some people over like it did with the mythoclast

The gauntlets being the reward makes it feel like it was meant for casual gamers. I was hoping for a runed orb.

i was hoping for something better than the stuff you can buy from the vanguard. i mean the tasks you have to do in order to obtain the gauntlets is waaaay to much for something you can bu after doing some strikes and public events imo
