With daily bounties, strikes weeklies and nightfall, crucible, eris, 3 faction, vanguard, patrol and exotic bounties I have never felt like the game is to repetitive. Adding the dlc just gave me more. Sure the story is still light on content. Kinda like the first few chapters of any book. It takes time to develop. Destiny will be an awesome story, we are just at the beginning.

  • All of those things are not content in my opinion, how many times have those bounties taken you to the same areas? How many times have you ran those same four strikes? Only an idiot would think this game has plenty of content. Not saying you have to hate or stop playing destiny, but the amount of content can only be described as pathetic and not worth anyone's 60$, more if you bought the expansion.

  • Then call me an idiot. I'm sure you're one of those that followed the development closely - hanging on every word the developers said at any con, youtube video or tweet. Which is great - but it's also the reason you're so disappointed. I didn't follow the development, I learned that lesson 10 years ago. I'm not disappointed with Destiny in the least. It's given me a platform to enjoy content with friends. Which is the important part - the social aspects. The gunplay is better than any other game out there, the fight mechanics have been amazing. The amount of content is fine for $60. Afterall, you pay the same amount for less content with just about any game you buy, with the exception of sandbox style games. At this point, Destiny has more content than any Battlefield, CoD, or Assassin's Creed games. The expansion was worth the $20 for the raid alone. To claim it's not, is to detract from your own time and say you wasted your time playing. If you truly didn't enjoy the game - that's one thing. If you can spend more than 20 hours playing the expansion, it's cheaper than any entertainment you're going to find short of masturbation.

  • Didn't follow anything for this game, not even a big halo or bungie fan. Mostly bought it because of my friends and continue playing it because i play it with them, just about anything when played with your friends will be more fun. Destiny does alot of things right, but the lack of content is what makes it so disappointing. I can't understand how anyone would defend that aspect of this game. Destiny is touted as an "open world shooter" but when do you do anything in the open world except the same bounties and public events? There is absolutely nothing to see or do in the open world that is remotely interesting. Think of open world games like Farcry and Skyrim there is literally hundreds of hours of things to do besides the story. Ill ask again, how many times have you run the same 4 strikes? There are FREE games with more hours of story and original content. Im no stranger to playing through existing content and story but the sheer craptasticalness of the stories execution and mindlessly boring objectives does not help at all. Don't even get me started on what bungie calls an "expansion" 3 more boring stories another boring strike and a raid are not an expansion. When I think of an expansion I think of adding whole new entire regions to the game to EXPAND and make the world of destiny bigger and more intriguing. This expansion does none of those.

  • Your version of an expansion is also based on a pay to play model where the expansion itself costs 3x as much as tdb.

  • You are allowed your opinion however by calling those who do not share that opinion idiots you only weaken your argument and credibility. Try articulating your own ideas without disparaging remarks towards those who do not share them.

  • If this is the beginning ... I dread the middle and end.
