I think he just genuinely wanted to share the experience with others who might be looking for a way to End Crota's life (*chortle*, Crota's End). Heck, I'd be pretty stoked if my team could obliterate his face in a time of 6 minutes, or whatever. It's an accomplishment. Be happy for your fellow Guardians, dude.
