Jackass right here too.. except I get to read about it, after I've bought gauntlets from vanguard that I just had to have cause I'm a jackass that likes shiny new things before doing any missions or strikes or raids. Edit* Oh, here's the best part, I've had them since the DLC dropped but haven't played much cause of work and now found out if I'd just waited could have gotten boots instead of the gauntlets.

This is why so many people are upset. If there was some indication that it was just gonna give gloves then I think a lot of people would have waited.

Given that I've gotten about 5 pairs of raid gloves on my hunter (and none of the other raid gear) I didn't bother buying gloves, so this turned out to be a nice surprise.

Believe me you're not... Bought Vanguard gauntlets, scored raid gauntlets shortly after, and, now discovering I get another pair of gauntlets...
