Agree - this game can be a grind but the social gaming elements is why I play this game. Even patrols can be fun with a fireteam of friends. I would probably be board to tears if I had to grind solo or PVE missions all the time. Gear/weapons preferences gives individual identity IMO makes the grind not so bad either.
