I think that the Story was MUCH better than the base one, but I'm very disappointed that Bungie gave PS ANOTHER exclusive strike, and it looks like such a fun strike! No Land Beyond SUCKS, and the new Vanguard weapons are a big letdown. I hope Bungie doesn't give PS another exclusive strike for House of Wolves, and the weapons are better. Disappointed other than the story.

Hate to burst your bubble but they already confirmed ps exclusives for expansions 1 and 2 with an autumn release for xbox
-
God dammit Bungie! Why so many PS exclusives?! (This is a reply to Timwa)
-
the vanguard weapons are pretty op I dont k ow what your talking abouy
-
Regardless of format, the DLC should be same, I hate the exclusive content bullshit, even though I play Destiny on PS4. The exclusive strike is good but it really is poor to partition off people who have paid the same amount of money.

Xbox players need to realise for the last 4 generations of cod they have timed exclusives and bungies halo franchise exclusive yet you moan over 3 guns and 2 strikes? The -blam!-s wrong with you people. Always want it all.
-
No. Just no dude. Yeah, xbox got dlc early, but when it was available to ps users, ALL of the dlc was accessible. Nothing was locked. You got what you paid for. Plus every cod base game was available to everyone, no locked content. Do some research first before you rant about shit you don't know.
-
Your point is invalid - the Destiny base game is available to everyone, just like the CoD games. The PS4 exclusive content is being made available to xbox users later on next year, so it is a timed exclusive, just like the CoD games. Also, i see you failed to comment on the point about the Halo franchise being xbox console exclusive....
-
Right so when you bought your cod base game, for ps, what content was locked? Nothing. Same goes for dlc. Did you have locked content on there AFTER you have bought it? Hell no! So my point IS valid. Once dlc was available to all platforms, everyone could access everything, you got what you paid for. It's a simple as that. And I never mentioned anything about halo ,because the guy I was replying to, was referring to cod. Please read before being a douche.

Edited by Guardian3263: 12/13/2014 5:17:51 PMNot true; there have been games like Skyrim where DLC was released exclusively to Xbox because of Microsoft contracts and then eventually ps4. I do agree though about base games. They should be the same, but that's the dirty business of these modern companies and their rivalry. It also may not be the same thing but fighter games have had exclusive system fighters, so that's technically different.
-
CoD had/has timed exclusives for the xbox that unlock for ps users later, how is that any different to whats happening with Destiny? (Except on a smaller scale). And the post you replied to did mention Halo, it specifically cited Halo as being xbox exclusive. There really is no cause to argue over some guns and 2 strikes, that xbox users are granted access to later on anyway.
-
Yeah my bad. He did mention halo. I apologise for that. But I still stand my point. For example: Black ops 2 xbox base game = Black ops 2 PS base game on release. Both are the same price. All content is the same. Destiny PS base game > Destiny xbox base game on release. Both are the same price. So since the day Destiny was released, I will never get my value for money until the lock has been lifted. PS users NEVER had that problem with cod as soon as ANY of them were released. Although it's only 'a couple of guns and strikes', I paid for something that I can't access for a year. Then again, I'm glad it's not just a PS exclusive.

Yeah it's a fun strike and it's probably one of the more difficult ones, but my favorite strike is the other PS exclusive the Dust palace. P.s. I'm sorry you can't play them yet it's BS buts Sony paid bungie for the timed content and if it's any consolation most Sony players don't have the exclusive weapons yet either
